Before Your First Appointment
Once you’ve called to schedule at 702-616-1942, our front desk team will walk you through what to bring to your appointment. Typically, this includes your dental insurance information (if applicable), a photo ID, and any dental records or X-rays from a previous dentist if you have them available. You can also complete new patient paperwork ahead of time through our patient portal to save time on the day of your visit.
What Happens During Your First Visit
Your first appointment at Augusta Dental is all about getting to know you and understanding your dental health. Dr. Sevy will take the time to review your medical and dental history, ask about any concerns you have, and discuss your goals for your smile. A comprehensive exam includes an evaluation of all your teeth, gums, jaw, and bite. Digital X-rays will be taken to give Dr. Sevy a complete picture of your oral health. If time allows, we may also perform a cleaning.
Your Personalized Treatment Plan
After your exam, Dr. Sevy will sit down with you to review his findings and present a personalized treatment plan. He’ll clearly explain anything that needs attention, the options available to you, what each treatment involves, and approximate costs.
